When the lights are low
And the chips are down
And you find you ain't got
No friend around
You can call me baby
Anytime night or day
I'll always be there
You know I'll never walk away

Yeah when trouble strikes
You know you gotta hold on
You gotta hang loose
And you gotta be strong
I'll be there for you baby
Anytime day or night
You know that it's true
And two wrongs never make a right

So just call me up on the telephone
Yeah, punch in my number on the dog and bone
You know that together we can see it through
I'll always be there, always be there for you

9. Call Me
(McGowan) I can't remember anything at all about this. Maybe I wrote and recorded it after I came back from the pub drunk! Not a bad little guitar riff though.... -- Davy

Reminds me of Donovan... and Simon & Garfunkel.... why? Lyrically, I mean. Of course Donovan, along with some other music styles, had invented easy bossa nova in his Open Road album, but I guess this is a Davy track. Just kidding! It's smooth and easy to listen. But as we can read, also easy to forget. -- Jore
